We headed back up the Sterling Highway toward Seward and got to see the Kenai River and Russian River area again. We turned on to the Seward Highway at Tern Lake.

We stopped at Lilly Pad Lake hoping to see some moose – but no luck.

We stopped by a weir on Bear Creek and watched the salmon jumping upstream. There were hundreds on salmon waiting for their turn to jump up the weir. It was amazing to watch.

We arrived in Seward and are camping at Stoney Creek RV Park which is about 6 miles north of Seward on Stoney Creek. We are seeing a lot of Bald Eagles around the RV park. It started raining this afternoon, hopefully that will help with the forest fires. The dogs got a much needed bath this afternoon.
