May 4-6, 2014 – Traveling from Arizona to Texas

On the road again – we left Apache Junction on Sunday, May 4 th and are heading to South Texas where we will spend a little time with Rex’s daughter Jen and Jeremy. We drove to Benson, AZ where we stopped to see our friends Leroy and Jinx. We spent the night at their resort – San Pedro RV Resort and enjoyed visiting with them and their little Shih Tzu, Peppy. Monday morning we left Benson and headed west into Texas. We spent Monday night at the Saddleback Mountain RV Park in Balmorhea, TX and Tuesday night at the Bar M RV Resort in Pleasanton, TX. Unfortunately we had a couple of minor mishaps on the way – we stopped for lunch at a rest area between Balmorhea and Pleasanton and Rex noticed that some of the tread had come off a tire on the 5 th wheel.
