Camille was doing great until she developed an infection in the large incision on her backside.   We got more medication for her and she was responding great.   One night Rex was giving her medications when he noticed a large tumor on the roof of her mouth just behind her front teeth.   Back to the vet who said it was a common type of fast growing benign tumor but that it needed to come out.   We had to wait until the infection in her incision healed before we could have this newest tumor removed.    Camille had the stitches from her wart removals taken out on the 10 th and the staples on her backside removed and the tumor on the roof of her mouth removed on the 14 th .   Thankfully both tumors were benign and Camille has recovered nicely. Lots more friends and neighbors are returning in November and we have started our weekly Pegs and Jokers night with friends on Thursday nights.    Rex and a few guitar playing friends get together on Tuesday nights to play and learn from

Rex has been busy working with his partner, Charlie - they are washing park models and doing some handyman jobs.   He also has had a few jobs on the Desert Dwellers Express, the trackless train he works on occasionally.   Nancy has been enjoying a leisurely lifestyle before she starts back to work in November.   She has been going to water aerobics class in the mornings and enjoying walking the dogs around the resort during the day. Camille had surgery on the 31 st to remove a large fatty tumor on her backside beside her tail.   We have been watching it for a few years but this summer it grew a lot bigger and got somewhat harder.   Our veterinarian said it was pressing on her intestines and needed to be removed immediately.   They also removed about 8 warts that had gotten big and/or were getting infected where Camille was chewing on them.   She went through surgery fine and has staples down her backside and many stitches where they removed the warts.

Thursday morning we drove down into the Valley of the Sun and arrived at our winter home in Golden Sun RV Resort in Apache Junction, AZ.   The weather is great – in the low to mid 90’s and dry (YEAH! - no humidity).   We decided we will not travel in the southeast during the summer again.   It is great to be back at Golden Sun and we are looking forward to staying in one place for the winter.   We are enjoining seeing our friends and neighbors who are here and looking forwards to seeing others as they arrive.   After getting our place set up Rex immediately started working on handyman jobs for people in our resort.   He also had a job on Friday evening with The Desert Dwellers Express – the trackless train he works on.   Nancy will start working in the resort office 4 days a week in November so it looks like we will both be busy this winter.   Rex set up his windmill that we had at our house in Colorado.   When we sold the house Nancy’s parents let us store the windmill in the
